A few months ago, a confluence of responsibilities in my personal life (not to mentioned technical difficulties with Substack itself) made it simply impossible to dedicate a sufficient amount of time into researching, writing and publishing quality articles. Instead of subjecting you all to half-baked goods, I have been waiting for the dust to settle and new routines to be worn in, so that I could see how, when and where I can work back into my weekly rhythm the flow of this work.
I think I may have found this, but doing is different than planning, so there will likely be continued adjustments as I reintroduce this habit. There will likely be some changes, however: I am not sure I currently have the time to juggle my professional life, quality time with my family, and weekly articles, so I may be publishing less frequently, perhaps biweekly or even monthly. Frankly it all depends on a toddler’s sleep cycle more than anything.
So with that being said, I will shoot for a monthly minimum and weekly ideal, and see where we go from there. I am anticipating having the next new article published this time next week.
Those of you that have asked me when I will write again, and those who have read and reread old articles during my little summer vacation - thank you for keeping the coals hot. You mean so very much to me.
Looking forward to it!
